  • Three times in 2 weeks... it's our new favorite spot to unwind to tasty dishes Izakaya style. Here is what I've tried so far and what I think of the dishes. Takoyaki - a ball shape dough cooked in a special pan stuffed with a perfect piece of octopus, this place by far serves the best one I've ever had in Vegas. 5 stars Grilled Tuna Belly (from the special's board) top quality fish grilled to perfection and lightly seasoned so the natural taste of the tuna stands out and with a not so over powering Ponzu Sauce was pretty good just unfortunately ours was a bit raw on the side almost made it felt like we were eating a seared fish but we still ate it all because it was still tasty. 4.3 stars Uni Chawan Mushi is their egg custard with veggies topped with sea urchin was just amazing. Very gentle and subtle to the palate with the combination chosen. Better word for it... comfort food like a Japanese version of chicken noodle soup for the soul 5 stars Deep Fried Chicken Cartilage might not be for everyone. But if you're like me who loves that part of the chicken then this is a must order! If you have eaten this before then you'll know what the texture is all about but it's battered and deep fried so it's masked and once you eat it... it's so weird in a good way. By far my favorite thing to order every time I go here 5 stars Deep Fried Octopus it's octopus and it's deep fried... need I say more? The mayo dipping sauce was a bit too much for me I prefer it with just the lemon and seasoning in tbh 4.4 stars Karage Chicken at the time when I ordered it, I felt it was a bit heavy on the salty side. I had to squeeze 2 lemons to balance out that sharp salty taste from my tongue. Maybe I just had a bad batch thay night. I'll order it again to see if it changes 3.4 stars Still have more foods to review... will post when I get the time .. lol Don't forget to say hi to Go, he's amazing and I believe owns the place. His soothing choice of music to play reggae in his restaurant has me coming back for more because it's just so laid back, perfect lighting, good vibes, alcohol, no tv so you can actually conversate with people you're with there and you can't go wrong with his prices. Let's just say I've been going here once a week and it's definitely not my last :)
