| - Never going back, mostly because they shortchanged us!
We went Friday night, late, 10ish. The carding and the wristband at the front wasn't that big a deal--it didn't take up too much time, so I was okay with that. The place was maybe about half full, certainly not as crowded as I was expecting for a Friday night, but the service was still suuuper slow. The appetizer, pork gyoza, came out pretty fast, but there was a huge gap between our appetizer and sushi. We were starting to think maybe they were waiting for us to order cocktails before they finally brought out our first plate of sushi, California rolls. There was another big wait between the California rolls and the tootsie rolls.
The pork gyoza was okay but expensive, almost a dollar per gyoza. The sushi was nothing phenomenal, but what can you expect in Arizona?
The most annoying thing, though, was that we paid cash, and we were supposed to get $19 and some small change back, but our waitress gave us $14 and small change. They stole even more than what we would have tipped, considering the terrible service. Literally never going back here.
