| - My kids are at Vacation Bible School next door at Highlands Church all week and I have about 439 things to catch up on... so I head to Starbucks for a cool drink, air conditioning and free wifi until they're done around lunchtime.
I've clocked quite a few hours at this Starbucks this week and can't help but overhear the conversations. First, I've never in my life been to a Starbucks with such engaging baristas. I actually have no idea where these reviews below come from (2015, that's where) because over the last three days, I've overheard the baristas thanking people by name, truly engaging with customers and making the experience memorable. Really, they are top notch.
The place is clean, they have an awesome outdoor patio (for brief sits in the summer or long sits in the winter) in addition to really polite and funny baristas. Person after person that I've witnessed-- and hundreds now-- leave with smiles on their faces. In probably 12 hours of working/eavesdropping, I heard nothing but happiness and no one left upset.
It's a smaller Starbucks location, so only about 5-6 tables inside and no lounge area, but it's a great, cozy space and I highly recommend it. It's not fair to be judged based on one disgruntled person who likely doesn't work there anymore. Let's bring these stars up.
