| - I had to edit my original review which was good, but now it has turned to GREAT.
I lived at Ten Wine Lofts for two years, in two separate units. There isn't enough good things I could say about the property, considering that I looked at so many different communities in the same area and nothing compared. The lofts are gorgeous and spacious with the two bedrooms maxing out at over 1400 square feet. I've lived in both New York and LA and wanted something that felt airy and spacious, and both of my units were just that. When I had company, they always commented on how big the place was.
I had a roommate my second year, and the apartment was so big that we rarely saw or heard each other when we were both home due to our bedrooms being on two opposite ends of the apartment. YUP it's that big!
The kitchens in most unit are massive with a huge kitchen island and wine cellars attached. In my first unit, I installed pendant lights over the island which made my place look like a million bucks. They have no issues with you replacing the lighting, and ceiling fans as long as you keep theirs on site.
The community was quiet. I never heard my neighbors. I recently ran into a girl who just moved in that said she read reviews about the noise here, I never heard anything above me or next door, and I worked from home so I was home throughout all hours of the day. The property was clean and dog owners had courtesy to clean up after their dogs.
Location = Everything
Across the street is a Staples, Starbucks, Olive Garden, Walgreens and a few small eateries. Also SIP coffee shop, and a ton of museums, galleries and OLD Town restaurants are a 3-5 minute walk away. Although there is a great fitness center on site, I was a member of two gyms (LA Fitness and Independence) which were short 5 minute drives away. There's an Albertson and Fry's nearby. Shopping plazas on every corner with whatever you need. Tempe is a short 10-15 minute ride up the street. For young singles, old town (which is Arizona's most popping area for entertainment, partying and nightlife ) is literally a short 5-7 minute drive away and is so close that you can catch a golf cart back to the apartment at the end of the night.
Andrea in the leasing center was always extremely nice and made me feel at home, as well as the maintenance staff who answered requests right away.
There is not enough good things I could say about this place.
