  • Overall Grist House has a great summertime outdoor atmosphere for getting a drink and some food. It is dog friendly which I find fun even though I don't have a dog because I can pet other people's dogs. It is overall a very relaxed atmosphere that doesn't get too loud even when the place is packed. The beer selection is best for IPA/craft brew fans and there was even a local Arsenal cider on the menu that I enjoyed as well. However, if it is hot outside then Grist will be hot as well. Parking is just street parking usually and a bit tough when I've been there but never too terrible/I always seem to find a spot. I like that Grist House posts the food truck menu ahead of time on their website. This helps pickier eaters like me know if I will eat the food available before I go. I found that the online tap list was different than the in person one but be sure to check out their website calendar of events before you head down. I recently had the Driftwood Oven pizza there and while it was overpriced it was still pretty good.
