  • I was part of a 10 man bachelor party and it was everything we had wanted it to be, as the groom was bent on going to a steakhouse. Although the reservation was for a certain time we made the mistake of showing up an hour late (our fault) the staff was friendly and kind enough to quickly rearrange the dining room to accommodate our large group. No one ordered any appetizers, but we were offered some crunchy cheese breadsticks that were put on our table. After a few minutes the waiter would come by with a selection of breads for you to choose from. The onion bread and the buns with the cross on them were both excellent, but I am sure that the other ones would have been just as good. I would have to agree with the other reviewers, I had the Wagyu 10 oz. steak cooked to medium and it was quite easily the best steak I have ever eaten. Yes it was $85 and the most expensive steak I have ever consumed, but worth every cent. My friends steaks were also excellent but deferred to the Wagyu after we traded pieces in our own steak "taste test". They offered various "sauces" for your steak on the side for you to put on, but as far as I was concerned, why mess with my meaty mass of perfection? Since everyone wants their steak cooked to the way they like it, the wait staff indicated it would take about 25-30 minutes for our food. I appreciated that since we wouldn't be sitting around wondering when everything was coming. The sides are ordered separately and were also very good. As a group we got the mashed potatoes and some mushrooms. Think of the sides as a good opening act to your favourite band. They were enjoyable but let's face it, you are there for the main act! Service overall was very very good. The wine and water glasses never got below half and our server took the time to explain the different cuts of meat to those that had more questions.
