| - Hi there,
We moved in mid April and it's time for a review. First of all, I wanted to give the place a 4,5 star review, but couldn't. There have been a few instances where something was not up to par but it had NOTHING to do with the management team.
SW GAS employee basically barged in to our place without announcing who he was or where he was from. If my fiancé would have been home alone, that would have been pretty intimidating.
Apartment it self was so clean that we had trouble getting the smell of new carpet out. Everything has been great and the little things that were "wrong", (read scuff marks here and there and 3 pin holes form previous tenant, which we are using anyway), have been noted on the property report.
Evelyn, Haley, Hally, Greg, Ceasar, Juan and Matt are all great to deal with. Had 2 small issues with blinds which resulted in operator error (read my fault) which was graciously handled.
Small confusion in regards to assigned parking spots that was quickly resolved and we had a gate issue that was fixed. (some one decided to tap the gate on the way out)
They organise all kinds of community events. We've had Margarita Mondays, Cinqo de Mayo celebration and tonight is game night. There's Yoga, Pilates and the pool area is currently undergoing some renovations. We're looking forward to that being done so we can use the area. (Construction has not created any noise for us and we are in the building above the management office)
Gym is great and 24/7, just wish the resident's lounge would be open at night so we could watch the playoffs (I'm too cheap to buy cable). Everything you need is within a 5 minute drive and I can be on the strip within 15 minutes. If you use Uber/Lyft to get to places you can be there for between 20-25 bucks.
Neighbours are great, haven't had any issues whatsoever. The only thing we hear is doors in the hallway that lead to the stairwell when they latch, that's it. The units are alarm ready, you just need to pay for connection to a security company.
Bit on the expensive side, but I feel we've gotten decent value for money for it and the most important thing is that my fiancé feels safe.
Side note, if you are up stairs, make sure your furniture is flatpack or not on the large side, the stairways are not made for big frames and couches. Pay for delivery, you'll do yourself a favour. We had some damage on our furniture moving in, but that was the moving crew.
We did fit a cali king mattress up the stairs with ease, just remember, a mattress is flexible, a box set is not.
I haven't been all over the complex, so I can't comment on the other stuff that people have said below. It's getting in to summer and during the cool hours I keep my balcony door open which brings in a nice cool breeze. Haven't had any major bug problems other then a few fruit flies due to fruit being out in the open.
