  • We ran into Everyday Noodles on a Saturday afternoon right before they closed before dinner (they do that open til 2:30, reopen at 4:00 thing). The place itself is really cute. Tables and bench seating and a huge window to watch the guys make your noodles and dumplings--a la Eat N Park bakery style. Biggest take away: it smells weird in here. Couldn't figure out what exactly. I had the cold sesame thin noodles and +1 got the vegetable dumplings. My noodles were out instantly with a heavy peanut-y sauce, pulled chicken, and tons of cucumber. The noodles themselves were incredible, but I thought it was taken over by how intense the peanut was. Now I did love the sauce; sweet and creamy with a tiny spice, but way too much. +1 thought this was a selling point, but I'm gonna stick with Ramen across the street for this dish still. The dumplings were incredible though. I'm hearing that's why people go here. The soup dumplings are supposedly infamously delicious but they don't have any Erin diet friendly ones so I can only speak for the streamed veggie. The flavor was much richer than I expected or am used to, mushroom heavy and soft without the mushy veg-paste you sometimes get. I'm pretty into these little guys. I also had a mango milk bubble tea which I was seriously unimpressed with (and passed on to the lactose intolerant +1). In general, I'm a fan. There are few places like this around. I love the quality and the authenticity but wasn't all about it. They deliver for free within five miles (which includes S'Liberty, woo) so I might have some dumplings in house soon but not sure if it'll be my first choice on Forbes.
