| - For starters, this is, hands-down, the most gorgeous hotel in all of Vegas. They took the boutique hotel idea and turned it into this very modern, very sleek and colorful experience with the added hospitality and care, far greater than you'll find anywhere else on the Strip. Customer service is definitely something they've got down to a science.
My boyfriend and I did a small two-night staycation for an early Valentines this past week, first securing a room on HotelTonight for an outstanding price. When arriving though, we decided to upgrade to a suite for an extra $100 per night, which doubled our floor space, and the interior was stunning beyond words. (Think modern-rustic and you've got the right idea going. Restoration Hardware was probably a focal point for their design ideas.) Plus, it had a HUGE standalone bathtub. This spurred a quick trip to Lush inside the Forum Shops, just across the street at CP, for bubble bars and a few bath bombs. There is a gorgeous Hollywood-style vanity inside the master bedroom to get ready at, with plenty of counter space to get dolled up for nights out properly. The suite itself was worth the price, simply for the fact of staying on the 7th floor and the view from our windows. If you have some extra cash to shell out for a special occasion, UPGRADE. I'm serious. Do it!
Our suite was cleaned to perfection upon arrival and there was no odd feeling of sleeping in someone else's bedsheets. No trace of former guests anywhere, which is huge with me. There was a large selection of items (different bottles of bar-level booze to use - and buy), some snacks, and some nonalcoholic beverages chilling in the fridge. Looking at the price list, each item wasn't marked up by TOO much. The complimentary toiletry items waiting inside the Master bathroom are vast and high quality. There were even extras that you could purchase, things like a couple's indulgence pack, for more spice in the bedroom (vibrating cock ring, anyone?).
My favorite part in all of this, however, was definitely the extremely roomy rainshower/steamroom. Accented with beautiful tile work and a nice place to sit and just unwind, I probably used this a solid 4-5 times during our quick stay. Everything is digital (including the toilet nextdoor) and works to perfection.
I only docked a star for the quality of the room service we received the first night we stayed. But that should fall more on the Giada restaurant featured inside the hotel, and not the hotel itself. It was a very pricey meal and each dish felt like it was lacking something crucial in the recipe.
Regardless, Cromwell, WELL DONE and we can't wait to stay with you guys again in the future. (I would love to see packages offered in the future, like getting the third night half off, or a fourth night free; free admission to Drai's Nightclub with the purchase of a two night stay, for examples.)
