| - My fiance and I came here over the weekend to eat, and the service was amazing and probably the best part of our meal. Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, but for the price? For being in Las Vegas? And for being recommended? The food definitely wasn't up to the hype.
We got the frickles, which were decent. I always appreciate when a restaurant does spears over chips, but my fiance and I both noticed that the batter slightly scratched the roofs of our mouths as we ate them.
I got the 1842 burger and added blue cheese, but they put so much blue cheese on the burger, that it overpowered the rest of the flavors (weirdly enough, we took my burger home and ate it as a snack later in the day, and it was significantly much better, but that's because the blue cheese taste had died down - don't get me wrong, I love blue cheese, but when you warm blue cheese, the flavor because pretty intense so you don't need a lot to go a long way)
My fiance got the bacon burger, and he said it was "alright" but that there wasn't anything special about it.
My favorite thing on their menu is there zero alcohol drink that has melon in it, but I got a shot of vodka in it: so refreshing and not super boozy, which was great for lunch
