| - Better than Studio B off the strip, but still not perfect and could improve quite a bit.
First off, it is expensive. Went Friday for lunch and it was $56 for 2. This did not include liquor nor basics like espresso or cappuccino. They did have a number of juices, even though it took some prodding from the server (pineapple juice!).
The main dishes shine brighter here than many buffets that you can ever try, but I can definitely see some general areas of improvement. My preferred selections included:
Angus Sliders w/ Cheese
Ravioli
Fried Clams
Sweet Corn Tamale
Pepperoni Pizza
Sausages
Sea Salt and Vanilla Gelato
NOT GOOD *nope not at all*: Macaroni and cheese (so deceptive too), tri-tip, confetti cupcake, madelines, and rice krispie pops.
Overall, the desserts were seriously underwhelming/limited (even though presentation was A+), and the decent to good main dishes, sides, and appetizers could not push this into the 4 star range. Bummer. For $25+ per person, I want more, I need more. This place is just alright. Do not let its eclectic, but pretentious faux-classy facade deceive you.
