| - The BBQ was yummy to everyone who came to dinner with me. The brisket was tender but alittle too burnt for my own taste bud, but everyone else enjoyed it. When we were in line to order we waited awhile because the person was on the phone but then we realized he was on the phone with a " sweety" because I heard him say I have to go it is getting busy here sweety, really you delay taking our order for a sweety. I thought he was taking a take out order. Came to realize that he was the owner, now that is just not good customer service. That was the first reason it didn't deserve a five, then the next reason was that I came to look at the photos to see if we for what was in the photo since the owner was telling everyone including myself to yelp for him 4 and 5 only please. He even said you can do it from your cell phone. I told him then i saw you got 4.5 stars. i don't know if you get as much as some of the photos featured, for sure the burger was Hugh but the trio and such I am not sure. The strike two was on one of the photos it said free dessert if you yelp, well when I ordered my blueberry a la mode he didn't give it to me for free or even mentioned it. He has been there for a year and at this point as a business owner wouldn't you do this to get people to come back? Or suggest this place? Or even yelp for you? What is 6.00 dessert? Strike three: they didn't bring out all the right sides well I mean he said this it I had to tell him we still have a side of rings and an order of waffle fries. This is the reason they got a three from me. The food was delicious to everyone that went, the baby backs didn't seem to fall off Like the spare ribs. The brisket fries were Huge and yummy. The Brisket dog look great and I heard it was delicious. I couldn't try it because I am not a fan of smoke burnt BBQ, there is Noy one kind of BBQ sauce and it was not my fav with the tangy taste. I like the sweetness of BBQ sauce. I am also big on service even if the food is awesome for them to get a five. In some cases no service is okay but it want because they were super busy and for god sake it was the owner not an employee. Oh and the bathroom is weak, one single one and it doesn't flush well after you have been waiting, luckily it was not a number two for me. The toilet paper just would flush...yikes. It is the worst feeling standing there trying and trying. I am sure the owner will read this and make it a better experience for you future yelpers. Btw, the honey fried chicken was not that good, so stick to the BBQ, dud that is why you came right? I am a bread lover and the little buns were weak.
