  • Went to the Black Dog tonight. 45 minute wait (not their fault). Service was decent (except he forgot to input the order of the couple next to us at the bar). He gave us recommendations when we asked, checked to see if the Texas Caviar stuff had cilantro in it for us (it did...so we didn't get it). The food though? Beef brisket was good, the mac and cheese was alright, the beans were ok at best, and my fiance had some portobello mushroom deal that she says was almost inedible. I was hoping the long wait was going to mean that it was good. I'd say The Black Dog was pretty much a bust. On to the next Chambana restaurant for us.
