My friend and I had lunch at Crazy Jim's today. He had the chicken piccado salad - it looked good with the grilled chicken and peppers on it, and I had a traditional gyro and fries. They were really nice and let me substitute lettuce and cucumbers for tomato and onion. My food was delicious. My gyro was a tad greasy but was overflowing with meat and vegetables. I had to eat some of it with a fork before I could pick it up. The fries tasted fresh. It was a great value for the price.
I have two quibbles about this place:
1. The service was a bit slow, which was surprising given how busy it was and how close it is to City Hall and the court houses.
2. It's loud in there, and the noise issue is made worse by how close together the tables are.
