| - If you want someone to accommodate a 2 story home with a steep peak DO NOT use RMG Mechanical. They were assigned our property through our home warranty, and after having issues with other companies that couldn't assist us, they "guaranteed" that they could do this job, no issue, I made sure to disclose all issues that the previous companies encountered, steep peak, no ladder long enough, etc... and they laughed it off and said that they would have no issue finding a way to get up there and fixing whatever issue we were having, "guaranteed"! They came out today, after I take the day of to accommodate the time slot they gave me and didn't even have the courtesy to come to my door and tell me that the were incapable of accomplishing what they promised what wouldn't be an issue at all. They called after driving past our home and said they have never seen any roof like this and he was afraid to slip, which I understand can be scary for some, but don't make guarantees on something that you are too scared to do, while we could have been finding another company with more experienced technicians, rather than wasting our time waiting on you. Also, to put blame on the designers of the home is laughable! Now we get to wait the weekend with no ac for someone to come out who is actually capable of doing the work.
** UPDATE: Response to Roberts comment: I did not intend this post to hurt your feelings, but apparently it did. This post is not untruthful, nor is it unfair. This post was written with the intention to help future customers that may have a similar need, so that they need not waste their time and their families well being waiting on a company that may be incapable of meeting their needs. Yelp is not a site to be used to make a company feel better about themselves or to be spiteful, my review was neither of these. My review was simply to educate others based on my experience. I think that your comment on your review was enough for others to see who they are dealing with, you let your true colors shine without me doing it. If you are going to say that your scheduler did not do something then clearly state a short time later that they indeed did, that shows that I am not the one being untruthful. And for the record I indeed was told that this would be taken care of no issue between noon and 2 the following day(Fri) I was NEVER told that it was to come out and see if they could do the work, she said not to worry about the roof, they would find a way up! Also if you are going to flat out lie and say that my air conditioner is 2 - 3 feet from the edge of the roof, this is also false(I am adding a picture so that you can see that this wasn't the case). Maybe if you were not the one to come out and assess the situation then you really can't give an accurate opinion on the situation. Now as to why the other companies didn't get bad reviews, well, not that it is any of your business, also this makes you sound like a small child that isn't getting their way, but the truth of the matter is the first company did come out, let us know they couldn't perform the work, and called directly down to home warranty trying their hardest trying to find us someone who could meet our needs, the 2nd company was responsible and not in it for the profit or to boost their ego by trying to act like they could do a job they couldn't, they asked the necessary questions to find out what they would be facing before even coming out because they did not want our family to be without ac waiting on them to do work that they were not sure they could accomplish. Take this review as a tool that can help you to better your people skills and help you grow as an individual and a company. I thank you for your time, but I will not be responding further to the comments on this review. Again, my apologies if this review hurt your feelings.
