About 10 of us came here for my friends birthday expecting to have a good time and was immediately disappointed the first 5 minutes when we had to check in and deal with Lambra. 10pm on a Wednesday night. Not exactly busy so I couldn't understand why she was so unwelcoming, impolite, did not smile or even attempt to fake it, and was just short with her words and seemingly aggravated with our being there. She rang us up and told us the price (I don't recall what it was $108?, $135?) and I had to ask her again what the price was because it did not make sense. That's when she rudely said the price louder with exaggeration and a little slower thinking maybe I would understand her more? Which I replied....how is that price right when there's 10 of us? She had to recheck her work and that's when she noticed she charged us wrong but no apology. Of course. She also stood there and told us "no one is getting shoes until the bill is paid". lol I guess we were all yelling out shoe sizes and she wasn't having it. All of us are also in the service industry so we know what good customer service entails. We had a great time bowling but to have to come in and deal with an unwelcoming, unhappy and just plain mean employee who can't greet or smile at you is bad on business. We know southpoint won't lose business because it has the amenities we want, so this yelp is probably a waste of my time, but it would be nice to give Lambra an extra class in customer service because she does NOT belong in front of the house. She belongs in the back where she doesn't have to deal with the public. We go out expecting to have a good time. Not given attitude and grief by an employee who's suppose to ensure we have a good time. The irony.
