Service was extremely fast, and the lady at the counter helpful.
I purchased two gyro sandwiches. The meat was very tender, but that is where my personal enjoyment ended.
The pita bread was very doughy. When squeezed it would pinch together like it was not cooked.
The meat was very very lightly seasoned to the point of only barely making out the flavor. The tzatziki sauce was sparse and also not much flavor. To me the tzatziki sauce can either make or break a gyro quite often. Tomato, a couple tiny thumb size pieces, and several onion pieces the same size.
Now, there is nothing wrong with what I just mentioned, aside from the doughy pita. Many individuals prefer their gyro flavor on the lighter side and this fits that bill.
I prefer a gyro with a much more robust flavor, and the pita lightly grilled.
Do I feel it is worth just about $6 each? Not in anyway. This should have been priced about $5 at most.
