  • I was excited to find another steak joint and such an iconic one at that. I hate to say my husband and I will never go back. Do they know what garlic is? The bread everyone said was amazing, was just toasted bread. How about some garlic? I ordered the shrimp cocktail. I love spice but man I thought my head would explode. As spicy as the cocktail sauce was, you would think they would spice up their other food. Nope. The steaks were bland and the mashed potatoes just as bland. I was excited to get an onion ring. Looked good but way to bready. My husband had to ask for 57 sauce for his steak and a couple we ate with put ketchup on her steak. I think maybe the people who like this place haven't had a really good steak. Maybe they just have been going here for 30+ years they haven't tried anything else. I promise there is better out there. I didn't mind it was a dive. Amazed it's been open this long.
