SBC means so much more to me than just "church". It is a community, and within this community is a family. I feel so welcomed and loved. I used to be turned off by large churches because I felt like you couldn't create community. This is not the case. I was proven wrong. SBC has 3 campuses, I used to go to Cactus Campus before my work schedule changed (I work weekends now) and served in HSM. I now go to Saturday evening service after work at the Shea campus since I work 2 minutes away from there. I love the Cafe, my fiance and I grab coffee before or after the Saturday service, and we get dinner there after, too. My fiance serves in HSM still at the Cactus campus, all the pastors at each campus is amazing (the third campus is Mountain Valley in North Scottsdale). I have been to both the Worship Center and The Venue at the main campus, and I love both! If you are reading this and thinking about checking this place out, please do. I used to be terrified to step foot in a church on my own - let alone a big church! SBC is family and I have never felt so connected nor accepted in my life. Also, I have to add, worship music is amazing.
