| - This hotel is overpriced to begin with. The place is spread out over multiple buildings, which are average at best in design and construction. The rooms are average, but the furnishings and amenities are old and in terrible shape. The knobs on the desk literally pull out of the wood, half the light switches don't work, and the tv and phone are old. For the price I expect more. The "resort" also nickels and dimes its guests. Printing is incredibly expensive, and if you have something mailed here, the hotel address goes to the UPS store, where they charge you $7 "handling fee" to just pick up your own package. For the price, I expect much more from a "resort."
I was forced to stay here for a conference, but there is NO way I'd consider staying here for pleasure or business again. For half the price, a Hampton Inn is a far better option.
Update: After being assured by the manager I wouldn't be charged for the package deliveries, I was charged $26. This isn't even a multiple of the $7/package they told me. I also never received a call that I was promised to clarify their policies. If you like unprofessional and dishonest management, coupled with a crumbling hotel, stay at this "resort."
