  • John Malkou - GM of this location. Worst customer service - no professionalism. I called to inquire about a membership, gave my credit card # to RESERVE a special rate. This was over the phone. Nothing had been signed. We agreed to $35/month. I get home later that evening to find out my card was charged almost $70....I NEVER agreed to have my card charged at that time, nor did I authorize a $70 charge. At no time during our conversation, was there any mention of any kind of a $70 charge. I left 2 voice mails, with no call back. The next day I see yet ANOTHER charge on my credit card. I call and speak with John, he says, "I couldn't hear either one of your voice mails". I tell him how unhappy I am and I want to cancel any and all transactions he has put on my card. His repsonse, "Ok, I'll cancel, Bye." John is rude, cocky, arrogant and has no care or concern for people other than those whom he benefits. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH LA FITNESS...THEY ARE CROOKS!!!
