| - Warning: if you dine once at Feenye's, you'll be addicted, and you'll probably be writing a review for a 12-step rehab program that will get you out of the undeniable allure that this Restaurant/Bar has to offer. Having that said, yeah...it IS worth it!
Let me take you through this cozy satisfying experience by starting off with the appetizers that we tried; first few times we went there we were pretty much obsessed with the SAGANAKI, which is a flaming Greek Kefalograviera cheese served with fresh pita bread. We also tried, TENDERLOIN TOAST which is a to die for slice of meat lover's heaven on herbed cheese on garlic crostini. And, my go to fav' now is--GREEK BRUSCETTA which includes feta cheese, kalamata olives, tomato on fresh pita bread, with a glass of pinot noir, you can't do no wrong!
If that didn't tickle your fancy, the salad bar will. Fully loaded with your favorite greens and then some.
After we've been fully appetizerized, we also had a few of their main dishes that were defiantly worth trying twice! Last time we were there I had the CHICKEN PICATTA with lemon caper sauce and my husband had the PAN SEARED TROUT almondine. On another occasion I had the LAMB CHOPS with Greek seasoning and my husband had the GRILLED SALMON Greek style. Needless to say...DAYMN that was some good eats!
Now here's how you KNOW...you just know, that you're in for a night of class A eating, and it is when you're too full to move, but you'll say "yeah...I will take a look at the desserts menu". We had a slice of the ice cream cake that must not be named! Oh yes, it was that intense...chocolate, Oreo, and ice cream...'nough said.
If you're not sold by now, hit their bar with your friends...according to my husband and his friends, you CAN'T leave, thanks to the owner, George, who makes Feenye's Restaurant and Bar an experience that you'd want to revisit again and again.
