| - I found this place on Google and went here on a Saturday afternoon. I had to look for the place itself after I got out of my car since it doesn't have a huge sign unlike the other establishments surrounding it. I guess it's a part of its architectural design.
Design-wise, I would give this place five stars. From the outside, it doesn't look so much, though it hints the interior's theme through the huge wooden door entrance. It has a vintage feel, and somewhat reminded me of Alice in Wonderland (seeing all their cups and plates -- TEA TIME!)
As I have mentioned, I came on a Saturday afternoon, which is probably one of their busiest, hence the crowd. I stood in line for about seven minutes. They have their menu paper-printed, I wasn't able to get ahold of one until an employee started handing them to everyone halfway through the line. It worked out going here alone, since it would have been difficult for me to find a place to sit if I was with a group.
I wouldn't actually say that Gabi is a bakery, since they only have a few selection of breads and pastries. I ordered their Salmon Brioche, Matcha Strawberry slice, and an Iced Matcha Latte. After ordering, they gave me a tiny bucket with a number for my order. I feel like it's difficult for them to look for their customers since the seating arrangements in the place was asymmetrical and it was packed. Anyhow, I did finish everything I ordered, but overall, the food was average.
I would recommend you to visit Gabi on one of their slowest days, if they do have one, so you might have a better experience and feel of the shop.
