  • 3 stars for the "Maple Bacon Me Crazy"! I wanted to love this place, as I watched all the posts on it as it came to fruition and it's walking distance from me (danger!). They have an amazing selection of donuts with awesome toppings. Staff is really fun and loose, which is nice to see. As stated, the "Maple Bacon Me Crazy" long john is the stuff of legends and well worth your trip. There are a few others I've tried that were really good too - they really excel at cake donuts in my opinion. To my dismay though, most of the donuts, when you "scratch the surface", are no better than those long-boxed messy sugar donuts you can get at Wal-Mart. They don't taste fresh and doughy like Bosa or even Donut Peddler. And however creative the toppings are, the sugar in the glaze to adhere them is downright diabetic shock worthy. This place is great for a special occasion, but hate to say it won't be a habit for me :( Also, if I brought small children here, I'd limit them to a half donut. Just my opinion.
