  • If I could give zero stars, I would. I came here to get my gose gold, morganite and sapphire engagement ring resized. I told the employee that my size was a 5 1/2. He pulls out his sizer, tries it on my finger, and says to me "no, you are a 6 1/2". I said ok, thinking this is entirely possible because my last ring sizing was about 5 years ago. I came back an hour later to pick up the ring. In a rush, I took a quick glance, paid, and left. I got home to see that my band had black burn marks on it. I tried the ring on, and it was way too big. 2 days later I could see the line where the band was split and a sapphire stone on the side of the band had fallen out. I was absolutely devastated that my engagement ring was essentially destroyed. I went to second jeweler who looked at my ring under the microscope and said that the band was completely worn down and the damage was evident. I am now left with no choice but to get a new ring. I contemplated going back and demanding my money back, but at this point my $40 back on a botched job of resizing won't even put a dent in the amount of money that is simply thrown away from this terrible service. Stay far away unless you want your beautiful, sentimental piece of jewelry to go to waste.
