  • I was visiting my friend in Vegas on a weekend they were having a block party in their neighborhood. He and his wife rented a huge outdoor portable screen from a company called BIGflixx to show a movie. They put the big screen up at the end of the cul de sac and people in the neighborhood brought lawn chairs to sit on to watch the movie. One guy even brought a recliner from like his living room! When the sun set the movie started and it was awesome. The picture was clear and the sound was great. It kinda felt like drive-in movies back in the day. (Remember those?) I don't know how much my friend paid for the screen but he said he got a good deal. I asked one of the BIGflixx guys if they have a location in the Washington DC area where I live and he said they're just on the West Coast for now. I told my friend next time they do another block party with the big screen to let me know, I might fly back out. Like watching Black Panther on that big screen would be the bomb!
