| - This review is strictly for the service department since we didn't deal with sales.
Our car was towed here from the first auto repair shop we took it to since it was, as they told us, warranty work that needed to be done by Chevy. It wasn't a major job. We told Chevy what needed to be done, as did the other repair shop.
So....a day went by. Craig (service advisor) told us he was sorry, but they'd have to get it done tomorrow. Okay, I understand things being backed up; I can wait a day. Another day goes by. Craig says that every job has been turning into a major fix, but that we're still "top priority" and that we'll be the "next car in." Hmmm....okay. Next day, same story. I'm getting irritated now. Three days for a simple fix? And my family is coming into town the next day, and we're supposed to leave for a trip in that car in two days.
The next day was Saturday. Of course Craig isn't working, and whoever the receptionist is has no clue what's going on with our car. But, she says, she'll check and "call me back." She doesn't - not surprised at this point. So.... we drive over there in our loaner and request to speak to the service manager. Rick, the service manager, is the reason they get one measly star (as opposed to none...and also cause you can't give zero stars on here!). He's friendly, and flat out says that he doesn't know why they couldn't get this simple fix done over the four days our car has been there. He tells us that the car will be done in an hour.
Well, to make the rest of this long story shorter, it was finished about two hours later. And that was that. Poor communication, poor customer service, and I question how well the work was done. I guess time will tell....
