I think Europe Bound is great. I actually love that it's a mess in there. It's fun to go routing through stuff, you never know what you may find. It's almost like a garage sale. I find the owner very friendly. He always says hi to me. I brought in an ad from Le Baron for expensive winter boots and he priced match it. (of course it hardly snowed so I havent even worn them!) EB has a ton of variety, and a lot of brands I've only seen in the USA. The prices in EB are very reasonable and I have found for the items that I was looking for, cheaper than MEC. EB has a nice 2nd floor, crammed with clothes and a glass floor. I just enjoy the shopping experience in EB. It's fun.
MEC is boring and their products never seem to improve or change. (MEC has a nice washroom which is the only reason I ever go in there.)
