  • Love, love, loved it. After reading the reviews from my fellow helpers, I had to give this place a go. After all, I'm the type of person who can eat breakfast food for any meal of the day! For those who don't know, Vendome is situated on a quiet street in Sunnyside. It inhabits a quaint building and is presented in a manner that combines class and coziness. Just like their big sister, Alforno, they have a system where you pay for your order up front, then find a space to sit in their dining room. I ordered the duck confit waffle and an iced vanilla chai latte. It took slightly longer than average to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The waffle was crispy, light and well accompanied with butter, syrup, duck confit and a poached egg. Having never tried a savoury waffle before, it was delicious! If you ever get the chance to swing by there, you have to try it out!
