  • I like Kirkland's overall because, as another reviewer noted, they sell inexpensive things that are reasonably made. For me, it's a great place to go for gifts during the holidays or bridal showers, weddings, etc. I took my mother-in-law in and when walking in she had asked what kind of store it was. I described it as a watered-down Pier 1 and she agreed! I did experience a moment where I had to wait for someone to help me at the register. I had been acknowledged but the register associate was helping another associate with something. Took a minute but I was a little anxious as we were in a hurry (lost track of time shopping!) - our fault. What was most important is that I caught an associate walking by and he asked me if I needed any help. I described him the type of mirror I was looking for because I didn't see many options on the floor and he went in the back and pulled 4-5 more options for me. I really appreciated that and he double-checked the price of each. I wish I would have caught his name, but he was great.
