  • I purchased a Groupon for five spray tans for $35. Groupon was offering a discount that day, so I got 5 spray tans for $28 dollars. What a deal, I thought to myself. However, upon going to the salon I was told I needed to pay an additional $2.85 for taxes "because Groupon doesn't cover taxes". I know this might sound trivial. However, I have never had this happen with Groupon, and have purchased many, many, Groupons where tax is included in the total amount of the Groupon . I felt as though this should be disclaimed to anyone making a purchase. However, the spray tan machine itself was nice and new! I did appreciate this and the cleanliness of the facility.
