  • Chas Roberts is a horrible rip off. Do not use them for any service. They will charge $85 just to come out and then hit you with excessive estimates for repair work hoping you will just go with them out of deperation or because you have already invested $85. They had my repair so inflated and basically just wanted me to buy a new system even though mine is perfectly repairable. The service tech had a HUGE attitude started trying to sell me on the environment and freon, etc. They must train them to try and give some fake emotional sales pitch. He did absolutely nothing on my system and in fact told me everything was fine until I told him it leaks freon each year so I finally wanted to find out what was wrong with it. Then he tells me it is the coil which I already knew. Worthless!! They must get some sort of commission or bonus for selling a new system because it is very obvious they are headed in that direction when they come out. I know they are a well known company and install a lot of new home but I would not trust them on the service side.
