  • The Earl of Sandwiches, over 250 years since the sandwich was created and not much has changed. Their menu is simple and service is fast. I had the full Montegu. Roast Beef, turkey, two types of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and their special mustard sauce (perhaps mustard and mayonnaise mixed?). The bread is good; toasted to a golden brown and still chewy. The sandwich is served warm and its pretty good. But like many things these days it's a bit lackluster. Don't read that as bad, I just don't understand the hype. All in all its a good spot for a quick bite for a reasonable price. Hats off to Earl for making the sandwich.
