I needed my nails professionally done for an upcoming work event and called ahead to a few places near my apartment. One place did not indicate that they had an autoclave but Mosheta confirmed that they did.
The prices are great - $15 for a basic manicure (with cuticle work and shaping) and $10 more for some simple nail art.
I didn't see the technician take the tools out of the autoclave so I pointed it out. She then kindly obliged and took out a new set and made various reassurances regarding other sanitation precautions they took such as using alcohol on tools and hands during the actual manicure itself.
I'm not the biggest fan of cuticle work that involves clipping, so I said not to do too much. The old polish removal was a bit hurried and I reminded her to make sure to go back later on and remove some of the bits she left behind which she said she would but forgot - not a big deal since they were next to microscopic, but still.
The nail art itself turned out really well and throughout the entire process she made sure to check with me that was she was doing was satisfactory.
Overall I was pleased and struck up a bit of a rapport, so I'm sure she will have no problem remembering and carrying out all the little things I am particular about next time I go.
I'd have no problem returning here next time I want to treat myself to a manicure, especially for the price. I didn't get a chance to check out their pedi facilities so I will reserve judgement for next time.
