  • I've had to visit the Emergency Room at CMC university twice this past week as ERs are apparently the only place to get rabies vaccinations. I dreaded going, thinking I'd be waiting for hours. Fortunately, they run a tight ship. I was called back for intake within 10 minutes of arriving both times (9am on a Wednesday and 6 pm on Sunday). The meds were quickly ordered from the pharmacy, and I was on my way home within the hour. Also a plus, every nurse I've gotten knows how to give a shot without a lot of pain.
