| - back when i was younger, i used to avoid this place like the plague. snooty, overpriced shops that had a clientle who seemed to walk around looking down on you if you didn't have the name brand clothing everyone else was wearing.
i'm not sure what's changed more...have i become one of these uppity snobs or has beachwood place become more accessible???
i hadn't been there in years, since i haven't lived in cleveland for a few years. but a recent trip there kind of astounded me.
there were stores here that in other cities were my favorite places to go.
they've remodeled the food court and moved it upstairs, and added stores like lush, h&m, lucky, pottery barn, and lots more.
and they have a nordstrom, which has shoes that i love.
yes, it's still an upscale shopping experience, but one that no longer makes you feel like an orphan looking in the glass window asking for more.
though i was there on a weekday. maybe on the weekends i can press my face up against the glass and smear dirt on my face.
the hobo discount.
moooore? you want moooooore?
i guess i'm a hobo with expensive taste.
