rev:text	I went to doctor Catherine tenedee after realizing my son's throat was burning and his fever was high. She advised that it was just a Viral infection and nothing can cure it and to just give him motrin. We advised her that a child with strep throat came to a family gathering that we attended and hopefully it wasn't that. She didn't think so but said she'd test for it just in case. She took two swabs one for a fast test that'll tell us within minutes and one that will tell us within 2 days. I said okay please call us and let us know. She said the nurses will definitely call! Yeah right. I was giving my son motrin to help with his pain. It got worse within two days. So I called the docs office and demanded to get those results back so we can get medicine for him. They couldn't get the results from the lab yet. Really? They said they'd call back the next day by 3 pm and let me know and to keep my phone by me because they can't leave the results on my vmail. So that's just what I did. But no phone call from them. They got back to me A WEEK LATER and said. I'm sorry but your son had strep throat. Please go to your pharmacy and pick up the antibiotics we prescribed for him. Are you F***ing kidding me? ? You guys call back a week later with important information. Here I am thinking my son only has a viral infection and he's getting better. Nope. Without antibiotics, he's contagious for the next 3 weeks with it. your doctors office is Ridiculous!
