  • Terrible customer service. This place is only getting two stars from me because the atmosphere is "cool". First of all, it is in a sketchy part of Charlotte. There is no need to charge $24 for an adult ticket in an area like that. I could understand the pricing if it was in Meyers park, but that is not the case. Although, when I entered the building I was surprised that it did not reflect the outside. Yes, it was nice and looked like a lot of fun. However, it was very deceiving because the customer service was not good. The lady that checked me in was "kind" enough to put me down for the next adult race. Little did I know, that race was starting in five minutes! While I was putting on my suit, I witnessed my race leave without me. I asked the guy operating the track if he could put me on for the next race. He couldn't help me, so he sent me up front to the lady clerk. I kindly asked her if she could put me on the next adult race, and she told me that she could, but it wold be a one hour wait. Apparently, the adult races run every hour. There is no reason why she couldn't fit my eight minute race in before then! I was not sitting there for an hour because I had other stuff to do, so I asked for a refund. Well, they couldn't help me with that either. All they could offer is credit to come back a different day. I REALLY didn't want come back here though. If it wasn't for the price, then I would not even bother. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Furthermore, I would rather drive 30 minutes more to Concord to race there.
