  • I go to L'express at least once every time I visit Montreal. steak de canard, foie gras terrine, soup de poissons, and bison steak are my favorites. Everything is perfectly seasoned and cooked. Simple and tasty, all substance no pretense. Forget about waiting to get a table, too much trouble, grab a seat at the bar and enjoy. Neighboring diners are usually very friendly.
