Out of all the Ice Cream stops in Toronto, Baskin Robbins in my absolute favourite. Their flavours have recently changed but they have something for everyone! My favorite's are Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Jamolca Almond Fudge. Even though it can be almost 5 dollars for two scoops, it is definitely worth it as their ice cream is always at its best. Their milkshakes are to die for and I defeinitely recommend them. You can get just one flavour or have it mixed with two different flavours in a milkshake. I always get the Chocolate Chip cookie dough milkshake and down it as fast as I can.
Over the years I have found that their cake prices just are too expensive. I love ice cream cake and would love to have Baskin Robbins cake for every birthday however paying $50+ for a ice cream in the shape of a circle or square just doesn't seem to cut it for me. DQ has cheaper cakes at a bigger size and although it is different ice cream the price is a lot reasonable. I don't think Baskin Robbins sells many cakes as their display always seems very lacking and their icing job isn't that great.
Overall Baskin Robbins is simply amazing. I wish I had bins of ice cream as big as theirs in my own freezer. Once their cake pricing decreases I will gladly purchase their cakes for birthdays or other occasions!
