| - I stayed at the Hyatt Place while on business for a few nights. I think it used to be a Comfort Suites, but the outside has been rebranded. The room I had was large, with a big living room complete with large sectional couch, desk, small table with two chairs, one cup coffee maker, mini fridge and bar sink. The TV is mounted on the wall between the bedroom area and the living area. The bedroom area was smaller, with just enough room around the beds to get into them from the middle. Off the bedroom area is a sink and set of drawers, adjoined on one side by a closet with sliding glass door, and on the other the bathroom suite (toilet, shower). Ice machines on each floor and food you can order from the front desk. They offered a continental breakfast with hot sandwiches, fruit, juice, yogurt, cereal and some baked goods, but I didn't have the opportunity to try any of that. They also have coffee set up by the breakfast area in the lobby starting at 6am. Just past the breakfast area is the pool, which was small but looked clean. They also have some outdoor seating in the back if you want to relax and look at the pool.
Staff were friendly and my room was clean. Had no issues with noise or any other annoyance to my stay. I even had food delivered from a local restaurant with ease. They do sell wine and beer from the front desk with ID, and they are nice enough to tell folks that walking across the street to the CVS is way cheaper. Overall if you're in town for business and want to avoid the strip, but still be close to all the action, Hyatt Place is a great option.
