I tried to get a FHA home loan. I couldn't get approved because I showed I had no credit due to personal preference with credit debt. I found out there is a way without credit to get an FHA loan with a non traditional credit report. I had to notify my agent Anne Kanelopoulos what I had found, as it seemed she had no idea what that was and told me she would "check it out". I had to text her after not hearing anything back and ask her if she "checked it out yet" and she responded that she "couldn't help me but good luck!"
My biggest problem with Anne was knowledge. She had no idea what to do with someone with no credit. Really? This is very common as FHA loans are primarily for first time home buyers who usually have not built much credit or none at all. It didn't seem she put much effort into our issue. I wanted a lender to do whatever they had to do to get me approved. Nobody wants their credit checked numerous times and have to go try different lenders with different levels of knowledge about certain loans. I wouldn't recommend her or Nova if you are in need of an FHA loan.
