| - My wife and I just finished having a great experience. It started with the compassionate Dahlia in LDR. we also had a great experience with Nicole on a couple of false alarms. It continued with the staff in postpartum. Pariz, who turned my wife on to some medela cooling padsfor after breastfeeding, and Dionndra were very caring, patient, and supportive with my wife. Adriane(spelling) was the best. She stayed with us on discharge day for hours helping my wife with breastfeeding questions and concerns. There's a good chance we were "those people." You know, the ones that asked the same questions over and over with subtle differences and she never got annoyed with us. She educated my wife and I with great information and tips and tricks to be successful.
The medical staff did have conversations during the c-section but my wife(a veteran of 10+ surgeries) said this is a common occurrence.
There is an awesome coffee bar and cafeteria for dads to be to run too. Also dads, there is a pantry with ice, water, juice, jello, pudding, and sandwiches for free to help your baby's momma and they encourage us dads to partake because we need energy to help out too.
The photographer, Terry, was great. She came back a second day because our baby was a little upset.
As first time parents it was more than we expected.
They also offer a free breastfeeding class and a support group meets every Monday for breastfeeding moms.
