| - I have to preface this by saying the normal juice crew is usually very friendly and helpful.
Its the day after christmas and I am feeling awful with a super sore throat and a headache to match. Whenever I feel this crumby, I head to my local whole foods to get a huge green juice with plenty of ginger, its the only time I can justify paying $15 for a beverage. Today, I did the same, but was met with bad attitude. Maybe she's having a bad day... I let it go. I try as delicately as possible to explain I need extra ginger, bc everyone has those days.
I get my drink to find only a nominal amount of ginger. I don't want to be that pain in the keister customer, but $30 is too much money to spend on 2 drinks made incorrectly (an extra is for my guy). I try to explain to APRIL that the other crew normally puts more and to please add some ginger. She is immediately defensive and replies rudely that I would have to pay for it. I say ok fine, bc the headache is pounding... She continues on that if I have a problem, I can see the manager. I say, once again, I will just pay for it. She proceeds condescendingly, "the manager can be found in the bakery." I already said I would pay for it, twice. She rolls her eyes, grabs the juices from my hands and STARTS WHISPERING TO HER COLLEAGUES, IN FRONT OF ME. I was honestly so surprised to be treated so rudely as a paying customer. Next time, if April is working again I will be sure to skip the juice.
