rev:text	This is by far my absolute favorite bar downtown. The old school, lounge feel and hip decor definitely threw me off the first time I visited, but I quickly realized it was not a stuck up hipster place what-so-ever. It's a bit hard to find since their signage is small and it simply looks like an empty store front during the day, but definitely be sure to check this place out! Any time anyone comes to visit I make sure to bring them here. Whether you like cocktails, beer, or wine Velveteen Rabbit has you covered. They are of course known for their hand crafted (delectable) cocktails, but they always have some great options for beer on draft (which I always appreciate since I typically prefer beer). With that said, this past visit the bar was rather empty so myself and the two people I were with got to talking with the lovely staff! We starting asking if they wouldn't mind mixing us up some custom drinks based on our preferences. Boy did our bartender deliver! I had the most wonderful scotch drink, and I don't even care for scotch. I was sucking these down like water. On that note though, the staff here is always so friendly/attentive and you never wait long to be served, even when the bar is crowded. They even do DJ/live music from time to time both inside and at their outside patio. Did I mention they have an outdoor seating area as well? It is super cute with a mini stage and plenty of seating. Not always great for Vegas summers, but when the weather is nice this is the place to be!
