  • We tried this establishment for my late birthday celebration based on the reviews of previous Yelpers. What a find!!! This restaurant is located in the Glendale historical district. The parking can be a little tight; you can park at a few close parking lots - it's a short walk. They have an outdoor seating area that looks fairly European. The atmosphere indoors is full of German cultural decorations as well. They even host Polka music on the weekends! The wait staff was awesome and extremely friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They have a terrific menu! We had one of their pretzels with cheese as an appetizer - it was huge! It took up the entire plate! You could split one of their pretzels between 3 to 4 people easy. They serve authentic German beer, wine and cocktails along with a fantastic desert menu for after dinner. I will definitely return for some authentic German cuisine and beer the next time we visit the Glendale area! A solid 5 stars!!!
