  • Awful! Anything associated with Larry Miller is bad news. Period. This is a crazy long story so I will try to condense. I bought a 2010 VW from Scottsdale VW, not close to my house, but they had the color/model I wanted. So I came here for service. I had so many issues with the 2010, that weren't this dealerships fault, but they were never fixed properly and I was there ALL the time. I was "too far" out of their shuttle zone, and the rarely had a loaner. Finally, I was preparing for a road trip and my "check engine" light comes on. I drive the 20+ miles to this dealership. Mind you, the vehicle was just over a year old at the time. I bring it in, they tell me my gas cap was loose. Um. No. I take it anyway because I had to pack it up and get ready. I get a block down Dealer Drive and it comes on again. I take it back and, of course, service is now closed. A few salesmen tried talking me into trading it right then and there. I had my 3 children plus 2 special needs children I care for. Ummm, no thanks. I take it home anyway and bring it back the next day. We wait. And wait. And wait some more. For literally HOURS...with 5 children!! For them to tell me it was the transmission. NOT an easy fix. We had already paid for the room for our road trip and cancelling was not possible. They said I could take a stripped down loaner, take my vehicle the way it was, or buy a new one. They must have assured me a million times that my payment wouldn't go up because I was basically just starting all over in a new loan (yeah right). There as no way I was taking it as is on a road trip, I was not taking their vehicle out of state, so I relented and bought a 2011. Worst. Mistake. Ever. I was there with a million kids till after 9pm!!! I got the WORST deal ever! Over $100 more a month...and am paying a FORTUNE for a vehicle I am not happy with (color, interior, price). The entire Larry Miller entity is horrible to deal with. PLEASE do yourself a favor and make the drive to Peoria VW. An amazing dealership in all aspects!!! If you do, tell them I sent you ; )
