  • It started out as a bad day- planned to wake up by 8am to get dolled up for the day, but ended up waking up late and having to rush. We left the house in a hurry, not enough time to brew a cup of coffee, so we needed some caffeine- yes, Starbucks! I came to find out, driving west bound on Sahara from Hollywood, traffic lights weren't working... hmm, I hope Starbucks had some generators... got to the one on Sahara and Nellis... NOPE, closed due to power outage . Getting desperate, we drove around to the Charleston and Sloan location in Albertson's, they're out of power too! ... yes, double eye rolls. Ready to find a salon, we're trying to go back to our Nail Salon on Vegas Valley and Nellis... only one technician! Grr! Ok so, we yelp up some nearby nail salons, check out two more that were also closed! Already losing hope and so ready to drive back home and bury my head in a pillow and scream, I saw this sign... Kikai's Salon...hmmm. It's OPEN!!!!! Yay! So we walk in- my daughter, my sister, and I - were greeted with the most inviting welcome ever! Such lovely ladies! I was so amazed by their color and style selection... so many choices!!!! They offer such a wide variety of services from waxing, touch ups, to full sets, almost everything in between! Call it fate or good timing, we were able to be seen within 10min! Then the crowd started coming in... lucky us! I have to say... my technician was amazing! I forgot the name of the beautiful and gentle lady who prepped my hands...sorry! I'll get your name next visit! But Lisa... ooh girl, you did my fills so perfectly ! I'm proud to say, this place is my new salon. I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu!
