| - The rating reflects one criterion only, and that's my disappointment with the macarons....
...which were dry, cracked, thick-ish surfaces, cakey inside; buttercream/ganache forgettable. This macaron would be a failure in France, Pierre Hermé and Ladurée can sleep easy so far.
I mean REALLY: you're selling me a luxury confection at $2.10 a pop, some 20 bucks a dozen. And you sell me dry and cakey?
That's like a brand new Jag with a dented fender, fish that smells fishy, or soup with a hair in it (apparently another Nadège reviewer had just this problem).... it's just not on. This was not good work, attention to detail or quality control.

PS - Have also tried their chocolate-almond croissant. Very sweet, dense, heavy... suggest staying with basic croissants beurre, pains au chocolat etc...
