| - **Would not recommend for young children**
This was our second ride @ White Tank Stables. The first one was wonderful, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, this time, our guide (Faith) - although extremely pleasant and polite - was inexperienced and inattentive.
Throughout the ride, whenever a horse stopped to relieve itself, it and all the horses behind it in line would come to a complete stop. Unfortunately, our guide would simply keep going. Then, 60 seconds later, when the horse had finished doing his/her business, they'd all automatically start galloping to catch back up.
Similarly, as we approached the stables at the end of the ride, our guide was unable to prevent her horse from trotting - which caused all the other horses to follow suit. Even when water bottles started flying, and other riders stopped and dismounted their horses to pick them up, our guide continued on unabated - which later caused the other horses to automatically start galloping to catch up. Our 6-year-old, despite the fact that she's ridden several times before, was almost bucked off.
All the trotting/galloping was fun for adults, but unsafe for young children.
